CR200 Series Wireless Data logger
Key Features
- CR216 includes built-in wireless communications
- Ideal for low-cost wireless sensor/data logger network
- 5 inputs, programmable for single-ended voltage or digital I/O
- 4 further inputs for digital I/O, pulse counting, switch closure, SDI-12 interface
- Low power consumption
- SDI-12 Compatible
Campbell Scientific's CR200 series consists of the CR200 and CR216, which combines data logging with a built-in Spread Spectrum Radio.
The CR216 comprises 128K Flash Final Storage and a once per second scan rate. Five channels which can be configured for digital I/O or single-ended measurements with a measurement resolution of 0.6mV, combine with 2 Excitation Channels, four Pulse Counters and two control ports in a lightweight yet rugged casing. The CR216 comes with an On-board Spread Spectrum 2.4GHz Radio and offers a transmission range of up to 1km line of sight. The new datalogger can be provided without the built in radio to give users a low-cost data logging option, suitable for environmental applications.
With the CR216 any SDI-12 sensor can now become a wireless device, with readings being transmitted to the monitoring station (remote site or even your office PC!). Sensors can be placed away from your main monitoring station without the expense and hassle of cable!
Large-scale monitoring exercises are now possible at less cost than ever before, by sending data from very remote sites to one central data logger station prior to combined transmission or storage.
